Catoro Covid-19 Update July 1st 2021

We are now entering Stage 3 of the government's restart plan, so here is an update on how Catoro will be operating!

For the duration of the pandemic, we have taken hygiene and safety very seriously, and have been diligently following distancing and sanitization protocols.

Thankfully, our safety protocols kept Catoro safe!

Now that restrictions are loosening, we will continue to prioritize the health and safety of our guests and our staff (and, of course, the cats).

So, we would really appreciate that you please wear a face mask at Catoro, unless you're fully vaccinated.⁣

Fully vaccinated means at least 14 days after receiving your second vaccine dose.⁣

  • ⁣The capacity of the Cat Forest will still be reduced to enable social distancing.
  • There is no socializing between tables or groups.
  • We will continue to make free face masks available to customers.
  • We will still have hand sanitizer available in multiple convenient locations in store.
  • Our usual Cat Forest rules still apply.

Please check the official guidelines if you want more information about Covid 19 restrictions

If you want to visit, you can book your spot here.

Government guidelines on mask wearing

Copied directly from the BC government website:

Masks are recommended in indoor public settings for all people 12 and older who are not yet fully vaccinated.

  • You're fully vaccinated 14 days after dose 2
  • Masks are optional for children aged 2 to 12
  • Children under 2 should not wear masks
  • Proof of vaccination does not need to be requested by service providers
  • Some people may choose to continue to wear a mask after they're fully vaccinated and that's okay

Thank you so much for your continued support throughout this pandemic. We look forward to seeing you in store soon!
