PLEASE READ THE UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM to see what an incredible progress these two have made while at Catoro.
Comet and Star are probably the scardiest out of the bunch. They’re very cautious of everything and will run away if you try to approach them. Star especially, likes to have her airplane ears on most of the time. She will hiss at you if you try to inch in closer, but if you’re slick enough you might be able to touch her butt. She won’t be happy about it, but she also won’t fight back. Comet is a bit less shy and a bit more approachable. If you’re lucky enough you might find Comet lounging in the middle of the table and perhaps if you’re slow and gentle enough you might get blessed with some pets. Once he sniffs your phalanges, he will shove his face into them for a chin rub. Sounds weird, but it’s cute. These two might be a challenge at first, but with patience and understanding they will flourish into their sweet selves that they are!
UPDATE: Comet LOVES chin and cheek scratches and is becoming more and more comfortable by day. He will follow you around and constantly ask for pets. Star has gotten used to us too, and is very talkative. She likes getting pets now too and her favorite is rubbing against your legs and lengthening her neck to get those supreme head scratches.
